June- Donation Event- Pittsburgh/Greensburg Girl Scout Cookies

After the Girl Scout sale ends, unsold cookies are donated to CSC.

Volunteers are needed to help unload the cookies into storage, as well as packing the cookies to ship. This is usually a weekday, all-day event. Additional packing can be done evening/weekends.

July-Packing Event- Stay Healthy; Stay Safe

After the 4th, CSC puts together large care packages focusing on hygiene items for every unit supplied at that time.

Volunteers are needed to help pack the boxes for shipping.

November- Packing Event- Operation Sugar Drop

After Halloween, candy donations are collected to supply our troops with candy bags and cards for Veterans Day. Additionally, we send out blank/unused Christmas cards, so troops have time to write and mail cards to their loved ones back home.

Volunteers are needed to write cards and pack boxes for shipping.

December- Packing Event- Holiday Treats

Immediately after Thanksgiving, we send care packages with holiday-themed treats and small gifts, such as candy canes, warm clothes, and other small stocking stuffers.

Volunteers are needed to write cards and pack boxes for shipping.

These are standing events every year. However, boxes are shipped year-round based on requests, supplies, and time. Volunteers are always appreciated to help pack, organize donations, or pick up donations.
